Job Description:
We are seeking a Virtual Assistant to support our client’s daily operations. This position requires someone who is efficient, organized, and has a solid background in bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will work alongside the management team and assist in various projects while maintaining a focus on payroll processing and documentation management.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll and ensure accurate reporting for submission to the payroll company.
• Manage employee documentation, ensuring completion and accuracy, including background checks and training records.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks and prepare reports for review by the accounting department.
• Support project management tasks, utilizing Excel and Google Sheets for report manipulation and distribution.
• Conduct research for projects and compare service providers for potential business opportunities.
• Maintain organized records and assist in creating presentations for management meetings.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (G Suite).
• Familiarity with project management tools (experience with Asana is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of social media management and online research.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and manage schedules.
Personality:
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a flexible environment and adept in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A team player who can communicate clearly and work collaboratively.
Software & Tools:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic accounting software.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana is preferred.
