About the role.
At Solo, TAMs serve as the customer’s trusted technical advisor that helps them get to production, triage their issues and consult on ways to get more value out of the Solo product suite. This is a technical role, so a willingness to become an expert in the use of and best practices around Solo products is essential.
You’ll interface with many roles—from Platform Engineers all the way up to executives—providing an interesting and diverse set of challenges. You’ll continually strive to be a value-added resource to the customer teams you interact with and help communicate the value delivered to key customer stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Assist customers in building a project plan to get Solo into production based off of the success of their PoC
- Triage customer reported issues, reproducing them in a lab environment where possible
- Document customer’s use-case, architecture, roadmap, and key adoption KPIs in Solo’s systems-of-record
- Work with customers to explore new use-cases and capabilities not yet adopted with aims of expanding Gloo usage
- Properly enabling the customer to be self sufficient via
- Workshops
- Architecture review sessions
- Training
- QBRs
- Act as expert in our technologies and products, able and willing to educate + support
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years working with modern cloud related technologies
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- At least 1 year building automation pipelines using GitOps technologies
- Familiar with many CNCF graduated projects and ability to run and configure them
- Experience managing and growing customer relationships by delivering a high-quality customer experience from a technical lens
