This is a remote position.

Active, growing 3PL brokerage seeks to identify an individual who can assist with contacting manufacturing, distribution and warehousing companies to encourage them to work with the client to assist with transporting their freight. The initial requirement is to simply make an introduction to the company and allow the operations staff to then transition the relationship.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM St. Louis, MO time

Responsibilities

Researching Contact Information for Appropriate Contacts within Companies 

Utilize CRM to Import Data and Track Outreach 

Understand Fundamentals of the Freight Brokerage Business and value of using the client’s services

Join for Weekly Sales Meeting

Weekly Reporting of Performance 

Make recommendations to increase sales success rates

 Communicate with other team members regarding specific customers and accounts 

Continue to sharpen and improve skillset

Requirements

1 Year+ of Sales Experience

Prior sales experience in the trucking/transportation industry

Fluent in English 

Self-motivated/strong work ethic 

Warm, Friendly Personality 

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs 

Sales-minded 

Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
