About the Role:
Camunda is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to lead our Task Automation and Modelling stream, driving the development of key components that bring business and IT closer together. This role is responsible for both the modelling experience and the task automation capabilities that power Camunda’s process orchestration platform—including Connectors, RPA, Forms, IDP, and DMN.
You will lead the product teams responsible for creating an intuitive, powerful modelling environment and a flexible task automation framework that supports the entire task automation lifecycle—from integration to human interaction and decision automation. Your mission is to deliver a cohesive product experience that enables both technical and business users to model, automate, and orchestrate work seamlessly.
This is a highly strategic and cross-functional leadership role. You will work closely with engineering, design, and other product leaders to define the roadmap, elevate UX, and ensure scalability and adoption across our customer base.

What you’ll be doing:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices, encouraging knowledge exchange within the product management team, and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
- Lead a team of (4 for now) Senior Product Managers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the vision and roadmap for Camunda’s core platform and engine, balancing technical depth with business needs.
- Drive alignment and transparency across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams, ensuring consistent communication of priorities, timelines, and product objectives.
- Balance the need for fast-paced delivery with the demands of enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and scalability.
What you bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product
- Substantial product management experience within a highly technical B2B software environment, ideally with exposure to platform or engine-level products.
- Proven collaborative leadership skills, demonstrated by the ability to bring diverse teams together, build consensus, and co-create strategies.
- Strong technical acumen enabling effective communication and problem-solving with engineering partners on performance, scalability, and architectural decisions.
- An inclusive, team-first approach, valuing the importance of listening, knowledge-sharing, and respecting diverse perspectives to achieve shared objectives.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with no-code or pro-code tools that support multiple personas with varying technical skill levels, enabling collaboration between business users and developers.
- Experience with BPMN or process automation tooling: Having a background in workflow management or process automation can accelerate a new hire’s impact on Camunda’s core offerings.
- Track record of managing products with global user bases: Experience leading product strategy in companies that serve enterprise customers around the world may bring insights into scalability and compliance needs.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $181,000.00 to $271,500.00
- Germany: €120,400.00 to €180,600.00
- United Kingdom: £117,300.00 to £176,000.00
- Singapore: S$224,800.00 to S$337,200.00
