The opportunity
With a strong customer base in Germany and fully funded by operating cash flow and fresh capital, we are preparing for the next phase of our expansion in the DACH region and the EU – and that’s why we want to get you on board.
We are looking for results-oriented Sales Account Executives (m/f/d) who will take responsibility for acquiring new customers and driving their growth. You will accompany the sales cycle from deeper discovery to expansion after contract conclusion and build long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Your sales cycle: You will take on leads from marketing, partner network or SDR team, deepen their qualification in discovery calls, conduct demos and negotiations, conclude contracts, supervise renewals and grow the business with SMEs and scale-ups in the DACH region (and beyond).
- Complete account responsibility: You are not only responsible for acquiring new customers, but also for their further development. This means that you will take over all sales-related activities related to the companies you have acquired.
- Contract Ownership & Stakeholder Management: You will be responsible for the entire contracting process and actively manage all relevant stakeholders (e.g. specialist department, IT, purchasing). You will conduct contract negotiations in a structured manner until completion and ensure demand fulfillment, timing, scalability and compliance.
- Pipeline Management & Forecasting: You carefully maintain the CRM and report regularly on your KPIs.
- Feedback loop: You’ll work closely with the Customer Success team and share feedback with product management – sharing customer signals and using shared insights to drive growth.
- Sales Enablement: You will share best practices and help build a high-performing sales team. At the same time, you will actively shape our go-to-market strategy. You will have the opportunity to grow with the team and take on increasing responsibility.
Qualification
What sets you apart
- Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in B2B software sales with proven success in acquiring new customers as well as expanding existing accounts. You master the complete sales cycle and are characterized by a strong KPI orientation as well as careful CRM management.
- Domain knowledge: You have a high affinity for artificial intelligence – especially autonomous AI systems – and a sound understanding of product management or related disciplines (e.g. R&D, innovation management). You understand typical challenges, decision-making logics and processes in product management and translate them into convincing added value and ROI arguments. In doing so, you can conduct capacity analysis and planning that thinks of work as a scalable, autonomous performance, and strategically classify and argue for the use of autonomous AI workforce.
- Kommunikation: Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch und beherrschst die Kunst, technische Inhalte verständlich und überzeugend gegenüber nicht-technischen Entscheidungsträger:innen zu vermitteln.
- Mindset: You bring a real startup mindset – hands-on mentality, personal responsibility and the ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-growing and constantly evolving environment.
- Bonus: Experience (or network) in (sales) product management as well as industry knowledge in future-oriented areas such as advanced manufacturing, industrial tech or smart systems. A bachelor’s, master’s degree or relevant vocational training is an advantage, but not a requirement. Other European language skills are also welcome.
