Job Summary:

Our client seeks a highly organized and motivated Educational Program Manager to join their dynamic team. The Educational Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and growth of STEM workforce development programs. They will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program success and impact. The role involves establishing strong partnerships with schools, employment organizations, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong desire to contribute to the success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Rollouts:
  • Develop and oversee program rollout strategies for STEM workforce initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, and resources to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Monitor program progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  1. Alignment with Partners:
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local schools, community colleges, and universities.
  • Collaborate with employment agencies and industry partners to align program goals.
  • Facilitate joint planning sessions to ensure seamless integration of programs.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Manage program budgets, including allocation of funds for materials, training, and outreach.
  • Seek funding opportunities and grants to support program expansion.
  1. Participant Recruitment:
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract diverse participants to STEM programs.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts with community organizations and schools.
  1. Evaluation and Reporting:
  • Implement program evaluation processes to measure impact and effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  1. Professional Development:
  • Stay informed about STEM trends, workforce needs, and educational best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, program support, or a related field.
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in the non-profit education sector.
  • Familiarity with long-form requirement documents for grants.
  • Demonstrated experience with a company that educates youth (ages 16-24) and children/preteens (ages 7-15) about technology.
  • Have a good understanding of curriculum building.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as part of a team.
  • High level of proficiency with computer systems, software, and digital communication tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

Salary Range: $10/hr (20 hours/week max)

Probation period: The candidate will undergo a trial period of 2 weeks to ensure they are a fit for the role before joining the company.
