Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven AE who thrives in a full-cycle role: generating pipeline, qualifying inbound interest, conducting discovery, demoing Unlayer, managing technical conversations, and closing deals.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial sales role with a direct line to the founders. Ideal for someone who wants to move fast, learn rapidly, and grow into a senior AE role as Unlayer scales.

What You Will Do

Pipeline Generation

  • Identify and outreach to high-potential SaaS companies, developer-first products, and platforms that could embed Unlayer.
  • Prospect through email, LinkedIn, developer communities, and creative outbound approaches.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Unlayer’s ICP and adjust targeting based on insights and data.

Discovery and Qualification

  • Manage inbound leads with speed, signal analysis, and thoughtful discovery.
  • Identify technical requirements, integration expectations, and the decision-making process.
  • Educate prospects on best practices for integrating Unlayer into their workflows.

Product Demos and Technical Fluency

  • Deliver high-quality demos tailored to product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Explain Unlayer’s APIs, components, and capabilities in a clear, confident, non-technical or technical-friendly way.
  • Collaborate with the product & tech teams when deeper technical questions arise.

Deal Management and Closing

  • Own deals from qualification to signature, including pricing discussions, procurement, and contract workflows.
  • Maintain active deal hygiene in HubSpot and drive opportunities to close with urgency.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and act as a trusted advisor to their product teams.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work directly with the founders on deal strategies, ICP refinement, and playbook development.
  • Share learnings to improve positioning, messaging, pricing, and product feedback loops.
  • Move with speed, autonomy, and accountability in a results-only environment.

  • A persuasive communicator who can speak comfortably with developers, product managers, and founders.
  • A self-starter who does not wait for instructions, but instead figures out the path to the outcome.
  • A clean operator with strong pipeline discipline and attention to detail.
  • A curious, product-oriented person who enjoys understanding the “why” behind technical tools.
  • A closer who is confident yet respectful, persistent yet thoughtful.
  • Someone who wants responsibility, learning, ownership, and direct access to the founding team.
  • Preferred experience includes SaaS sales, B2B or developer-focused products, or selling technical tools or APIs.
