Job Description:
Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their expanding home-visit medical practice. This role involves managing patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and coordination across multiple communication platforms. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in supporting healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage patient intake processes, including forms, consents, and referral tracking.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling based on patient location and provider availability.
• Handle incoming communications through phone, text, fax, and the Spruce app.
• Maintain and organize electronic medical records (EMR) and patient documentation.
• Follow HIPAA compliance standards for all patient information.
• Assist with basic operational workflows and process organization.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and providers.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in administrative or office support, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (C2 or native-like).
• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and workflows quickly.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and handling of confidential information.
Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare-related role.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Experience coordinating schedules or logistics for field-based services.
• Understanding of healthcare terminology and documentation practices.

Schedule:
Part time – 20 hours a week between 10am to 3pm EST
