Responsibilities

1. Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, continuity, and narrative flow.
2. Enhance videos with graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate the storytelling.
3. Incorporate audio elements, including music, sound effects, and voiceovers, to enhance the viewer’s experience.
4. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and execute the vision effectively.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.
6. Manage and organize video assets and project files efficiently to streamline workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.
7. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

 Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
3. Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting techniques, lighting, and audio recording.
4. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
7. A bachelor’s degree in film studies, media production, or a related field is preferred, but not required, with equivalent practical experience.
