Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities
● Frontend Development:
Build performant, secure, and intuitive user interfaces using Next.js/React and modern CSS frameworks for dashboards, analytics, and operational monitoring.
● Backend & API Development:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python, including authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant access control.
● Databricks Integration (Key Focus):
Work hands-on with Databricks to query, manage, and optimize Delta Lake datasets, collaborate with ingestion pipelines, and support low-latency analytics for application use cases.
● AI-Assisted Development & Context Engineering:
Use AI coding tools effectively for rapid prototyping, refactoring, and debugging by providing clear context, constraints, and intent, and converting outputs into production-grade code.
● Real-Time Systems:
Implement real-time communication mechanisms (e.g., Server-Sent Events or WebSockets) to deliver live updates to frontend applications.
● Event & Pipeline Collaboration:
Collaborate with data and platform teams to support event-driven processing and downstream consumers.
● Enterprise Integrations:
Build and maintain API endpoints that integrate with external enterprise systems to exchange data and synchronize workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
● Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
● Full Stack Experience:
2–4 years of hands-on experience with React/Next.js on the frontend and Node.js, Go, or Python on the backend.
● Databricks Experience (Mandatory):
Proven experience working with Databricks, including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake tables, and managed data access. Ability to design efficient queries and support application-driven analytics.
● Cloud Infrastructure:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and building services that interact with managed data platforms.
● Security & Identity:
Working knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, RBAC, and managed identity services.
● AI Coding / Vibe Coding Skills:
Strong ability to collaborate with AI coding assistants through effective prompt design, context structuring, and critical evaluation of generated code.
Preferred Experience
● Experience with data-intensive or analytics-heavy platforms.
● Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time systems.
● Exposure to workflow automation or external API orchestration tools.
● Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous product environments.
