Job Summary

We are seeking a charismatic, knowledgeable, and engaging Podcast & Interview Presenter to host our tech-focused podcasts, founder interviews, and startup spotlight sessions. He/She will be the face/voice of our long-form storytelling, helping to spotlight emerging tech companies, innovators, founders, and breakthrough tech across Nigeria, & Africa

  • Minimum Qualification : HND

  • Experience Level : Entry level

  • Experience Length : 2 years

  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  •  Host ech-focused podcasts, founder interviews, and startup spotlight sessions.

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure each episode—video or audio—is engaging, high-quality, and aligned with our editorial standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a presenter, interviewer, podcaster, MC, radio host, or on-air talent.

  • Strong understanding of technology, startups, gadgets, and innovation.

  • Excellent verbal communication, diction, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to drive meaningful conversations and ask smart follow-up questions.

  • Comfortable in front of the camera and microphone.

  • Clear, confident speaking voice with strong presentation presence.

  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt mid-conversation.

  • Strong research skills.

  • Warm, approachable personality with professional delivery.

  • Ability to simplify complex tech topics into relatable content.

  • Comfortable interviewing founders, VCs, professionals, and innovators

  • Ability to record clean, crisp audio with a basic home or studio setup.

  • Familiarity with basic podcast/interview tools such as Zoom/Google Meet/StreamYard, Lavalier or condenser microphones, Basic lighting & framing

  • Willingness to learn branding, intros/outros, and voice direction from the team.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent with deadlines.

  • Must be comfortable reading scripts and improvising.

  • Must maintain a professional appearance on camera.

  • Must be open to long-form and short-form recording formats.

  • Background in journalism, media, communication, or theatre.

  • Previous experience hosting tech shows, YouTube channels, or startup events.

  • Understanding of startup ecosystems in Nigeria/Africa.

  • Social media familiarity (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
