Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. This role will oversee core accounting functions, manage one direct report, and work closely with leadership to provide insights for strategic planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly experienced, and capable of taking ownership of all aspects of accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Supervise and mentor one team member responsible for receivables.
- Manage and maintain QuickBooks records with high accuracy.
- Provide weekly and monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support leadership with financial insights for board meetings.
- Assist in preparing for annual budget season and other financial planning cycles.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain best practices.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proven leadership experience, with ability to manage and guide junior staff.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with general accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with U.S. tax code and U.S.-specific accounting practices.
- Prior experience working with international or cross-border accounting environments.
- Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:
Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate’s preference.
