Senior Data Scientist : HeroSoftware

Are you an ace in data architecture and data modeling?

Then we are looking for you as a Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) (full-time). We develop Shopify apps for over 3,500+ merchants and need you to create structures, insights and decision-making bases.

Responsibilities

Your daily business with us:

• Building and maintaining a scalable data warehouse architecture
• Integration of data sources (e.g. MongoDB, APIs, DigitalOcean, Shopify)
• Building dashboards and data models to support decision-making
• Setting up tracking structures and events correctly with developers
• Collaborate with product and growth teams
• Big Data Exploratory Analysis (EDA)
• Development of dashboards and visualizations
• Development of an analytics framework (KPIs, reports, data models)

Qualification

You have in-depth experience in data engineering or data science:

• You can model, transform, and analyze data (Python, SQL, or similar)
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL or similar
• You have already built data pipelines and are familiar with ETL processes
• Experience with cloud deployments (e.g. DigitalOcean, AWS, GCP)
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented and independent manner
• Software development is not required by yourself
• You are fluent in German & English
