Purpose of the position:
At Boombit we are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to develop, implement and manage comprehensive social media strategies for our clients. The role requires experience in paid media, content creation, and community management across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is up to date with trends, is highly organized, and able to deliver measurable results while maintaining brand consistency and audience interaction.

Job Details:

  • Location: 100% remote, with a preference for candidates in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.
  • Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (UTC-6, Nicaragua Time Zone)
  • Type of position: Full-time to indefinite term
  • Languages: Native Spanish and English (B2+)
  • Availability: Immediate

Mainresponsibilities:

Content creation and copywriting:

  • Plan, create, and schedule high-quality content (text, images, videos, and interactive formats) tailored to each platform.
  • Write engaging, brand-aligned copy in Spanish and English for organic posts, paid campaigns, and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure visual and messaging consistency across content.

Research and trend analysis:

  • Conduct ongoing research on local and global trends in social media, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Monitor competitor and industry activity to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Incorporate trend insights into the social content strategy to ensure relevance and engagement.

Community Management:

  • Monitor, interact and foster online communities to build loyalty, advocacy and positive brand perception.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to customer comments, messages, and inquiries on the platforms.
  • Facilitate conversations with followers and proactively address topics or concerns about the brand.

Paid Media Management and Execution:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage budgets, targeting, bid strategies, and creatives to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align campaign objectives with marketing goals.

Social Media Analytics and Reporting:

  • Measure and analyze campaign performance with tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, and native metrics for each platform.
  • Produce monthly reports with actionable recommendations to improve and optimize performance.
  • Evaluate KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI to guide strategy adjustments.

Cross-Cutting Collaboration and Project Management:

  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and account teams to align social strategies with overall client goals.
  • Develop and maintain content calendars, timelines, and workflows for multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Participate in meetings with clients to provide updates, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Required academic background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related areas.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in social media management, digital advertising, or marketing, with a proven track record of measurable results.
  • Proficiency in major platforms (MetaLinkedInTikTok, Instagram), including content strategy, community engagement, and paid campaigns.
  • Experience managing significant budgets, optimizing campaigns for ROI, and presenting actionable insights with analytics.
  • Excellent bilingual writing skills (native Spanish, English B2+), capable of creating culturally relevant messages for LATAM and global audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Meta Ads ManagerGoogle AdsLinkedIn Ads, and other emerging advertising channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics tools (Sprout SocialHootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, and native metrics).
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies (audience segmentationfunnel optimization, and performance metrics).
  • Project management, organization, and time management skills to coordinate multiple campaigns.
  • Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and performance optimization to increase organic reach.
  • Previous experience in remote or nearshore teams, demonstrating autonomy and clear communication.
  • Knowledge in advanced social media automation, A/B testing or growth hacking strategies.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, or other recognized programs.
  • Certifications or formal training in SEO, content marketing, Google Analytics, or other digital disciplines.
  • Knowledge of new social platforms, influencer marketing or content focused on performance.
