Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Web Developer & Designer to take TriRig to the next level. The right candidate will not only have deep Shopify expertise, but also the ability to BRING THEIR OWN IDEAS, STRATEGIES, AND DESIGNS to improve site performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on optimizing user experience and driving measurable growth through unique, high-converting UI solutions.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

• Shopify Expertise: Build, customize, and optimize Shopify themes, product pages, and site flows with a proven track record of performance improvements.
• UI/UX Innovation: Propose and design new, unique layouts that enhance usability, brand presentation, and conversion rates.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze Shopify analytics (sessions, time on page, cart adds, conversions, etc.), run A/B tests, and implement winning solutions.
• SEO & Performance: Ensure all design work supports fast load times, search visibility, and technical best practices.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Conduct audits of existing pages, identify pain points, and present actionable solutions without waiting for direction.
• Collaboration: Work with leadership and marketing teams while taking ownership of digital strategy execution.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Shopify Mastery: 8+ years designing and developing directly in Shopify with a portfolio of measurable improvements (conversion rate, speed, engagement, etc.).
• Proven Results: Ability to showcase specific examples of how your design or development work directly improved store metrics.
• Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Front-End Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Shopify theme customization.
• Creative Ownership: Self-starter with the ability to bring fresh ideas, not just execute assigned tasks.
• Detail & Consistency: Pixel-perfect execution, reliable work ethic, and long-term vision for this role.

Work Schedule

• Contracted Hours per Week: 10 – 20 hours/week
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
• Daily Working Time: TBD

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
