RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
- Create and curate engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and copy
- Manage the social media calendar and ensure timely posting aligned with campaigns and events
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to foster community and brand loyalty
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategy and optimize content
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging and branding
- Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
- Manage paid social campaigns and coordinate with advertising teams when applicable
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management on social platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behavior
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite)
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience with influencer outreach and user-generated content campaigns is a plus
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and brand consistency
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE/REQUIRED: Social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite), Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, TikTok/Instagram Insights), Design/video tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut), Experience with Shopify integrations or Klaviyo as a plus
