Job Summary
The social media Handler is responsible for managing the company’s online presence, digital engagements, and content strategy across all social media platforms. This role supports the brand’s visibility, drives audience engagement, and showcases the company’s construction projects, tech innovations, and solutions. The ideal candidate is creative, tech-savvy, and experienced in digital marketing, especially within the construction, tech, or engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Management
- Develop and schedule engaging content (posts, infographics, short videos, project updates, etc.) across all social media platforms.
- Create visuals that highlight ongoing construction projects, equipment, technology integrations, and corporate activities.
- Write compelling captions tailored to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
2. Brand Positioning & Storytelling
- Showcase the company’s “tech-smart” approach through innovative and high-quality digital content.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and style across all digital channels.
- Promote the company’s engineering capabilities, project milestones, and technological advancements.
3. Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute monthly social media plans aligned with the company’s marketing and corporate goals.
- Identify trending topics in construction, real estate, building technology, sustainability, and engineering.
- Conduct competitor and industry analysis to guide content direction.
4. Community Engagement
- Respond promptly to comments, inquiries, and direct messages.
- Engage with stakeholders, clients, partners, and industry influencers online.
- Foster a positive digital community around the brand.
5. Digital Campaigns & Advertising
- Plan and run targeted ads on social media platforms for brand visibility, lead generation, and recruitment.
- Track ad performance and recommend optimization strategies.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Track, measure, and report insights and performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, conversions).
- Recommend improvements based on analytics to boost visibility and engagement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly digital performance reports.
7. Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, and Project Teams to obtain project updates and technical content.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and photographers when needed.
- Support the HR team with recruitment campaigns and employer branding.
8. Reputation & Crisis Management
- Monitor online mentions related to the company, clients, and competitors.
- Provide timely escalation and responses for potential crises or negative publicity.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Creative Arts, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing social media accounts, preferably for construction, engineering, tech, or real estate brands.
- Demonstrated portfolio of content or social media pages handled.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction or tech-related content creation (a plus).
- Proficiency with social media tools: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging videos (Reels, TikTok, project walkthroughs).
- Creative thinking, strong attention to detail, and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
