About the Role:

The Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of one-time consulting engagements, such as ProSA, Migration, and EoD. Operating at a project level, they act as the bridge between Sales, Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while driving customer satisfaction and value realization. Additionally, they proactively manage risks, oversee project governance, track consulting expansion opportunities, and capture lessons learned to continuously improve consulting delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Team up with Account Teams (especially Sales, CSM & TAM) to support positioning, sales, and scoping of consulting engagements as well as well as a proper handover from Sales to Post-Sales
  • Proactively manage & track the engagement delivery pipeline in collaboration with Regional Consulting Managers and Resource Managers
  • Lead Consulting engagement execution as part of customer projects, ensuring they are delivered in time budget, expected quality and align with customer needs
  • Track engagement budget and financial performance to ensure profitability
  • Captures learnings from engagements to enhance Camunda’s Consulting frameworks and delivery processes 

What you bring:

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
  •  2+ years of (Technical) Engagement Management experience in the Enterprise Software or SaaS industry, with a track record of successfully managing consulting engagements
  • Proven ability to manage consulting engagements / projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery while aligning with customer objectives and value
  • Passion for solving customer challenges and strong commitment to customer success
  • A strong aptitude for strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving
  • Advanced communications skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, and adaptability to respond to diverse customer needs on the fly.

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with software engineering, process orchestration and automation is a strong plus

Compensation

We offer fair, transparent, and competitive compensation. For new hires, we typically place candidates in the first half of the range, allowing room for growth over time.

Annual Total Cash (base salary + 100% variable, where applicable):

  • United States: $122,0000 to $201,200
  • Germany: €78,800to €130,400
  • United Kingdom: £76,600 to £126,000
  • Singapore:S$151,500 to S$227,200
