We are looking for a Social Media Video Editor who is familiar with creating trending videos on TikTok and repurposing existing content into fresh ones! 

As a Social Media Video Editor, you will play a pivotal role in creating captivating video content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand’s voice. You will be responsible for repurposing existing content, creating short videos from longer-form footage, and re-editing TikTok videos to optimize performance and virality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Repurposing: Transform existing content into engaging, platform-specific videos for social media, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Short-Form Editing: Edit longer-form videos into punchy, shareable short videos optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • TikTok Optimization: Re-edit TikTok videos to enhance their appeal, increase engagement, and maximize reach.
  • Trend Integration: Stay updated on social media trends, incorporating relevant styles, sounds, and techniques to create viral content.
  • Performance Analysis: Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze video performance metrics and refine editing strategies for better results.
  • Creative Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives through editing, ensuring videos capture attention within the first few seconds.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Video Editor, with a portfolio demonstrating viral and high-performing content.
  • Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Ability to repurpose and optimize content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, pacing, and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with video trends, editing styles, and viral formats.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with motion graphics and tools like After Effects.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and content strategy.

  • Proven track record with video
  • Plus point if the account has over 1M likes on the platform.
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Creative ideas and passion in the beauty or waxing industry.
