This is a remote position.
A specialised consultancy focused on scaling ambitious tech startups and preparing them for investment and exit is seeking a proactive Marketing & Growth Executive for approximately 6 – 10 hours a week. Working directly with an experienced Founder, you will act as the “engine room” for the firm’s visibility and authority, turning strategic insights into consistent market presence.
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to board-level thinking and the international investment ecosystem. The role is not about traditional mass-marketing; it is about precision growth, amplifying a high-authority personal brand, building a sophisticated audience of investors and founders, and managing the CRM systems that turn engagement into a scalable pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Brand Authority: Transform the Founder’s long-form insights, talks, and strategic ideas into engaging short-form content (primarily LinkedIn), maintaining a sophisticated, conversational tone.
- Strategic Distribution: Own the growth of the LinkedIn personal brand and company page, implementing proactive engagement strategies to reach founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
- Pipeline & CRM Architecture: Build and maintain the CRM database, tracking relationships across clients, investors, and specialists to ensure no opportunity is missed.
- Research & Opportunity Scouting: Identify and secure high-impact speaking slots, podcast appearances, and community memberships; conduct market research to support client investment readiness.
- Sales Asset Development: Create and update high-quality presentation decks, brochures, and digital sales materials using tools like Better Proposals to support the business development lifecycle.
- Lead Nurture & Conversion: Manage inbound interest, qualify leads, and develop newsletter/email marketing campaigns to convert audience engagement into meaningful commercial conversations.
- Performance Analytics: Monitor platform performance and audience growth, using data-driven insights to recommend improvements to the growth engine.
Requirements
- Exceptional Communication: Advanced writing and editing skills with a flair for business storytelling and a meticulous eye for detail.
- LinkedIn Expertise: Proven experience managing and growing LinkedIn profiles for businesses or high-profile personal brands.
- Content Repurposing: Ability to take a single piece of long-form content and break it down into multiple high-performing formats.
- Operational Excellence: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams, from CRM maintenance to event research.
- Commercially Astute: A proactive mindset that understands the difference between “vanity metrics” and genuine business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting a Founder or a specialised consultancy.
- A foundational understanding of the B2B tech, startup, or venture capital ecosystems.
- Experience with basic video editing for short-form social content (Reels/Shorts).
Required Software Skills
- CRM Systems (Implementation and management)
- Canva (Visual asset creation)
- Better Proposals (or similar proposal software)
- Microsoft Office 365 (Advanced PowerPoint and Word)
- Calendly and Google Workspace
